Way, way back in the year 2013, Donna Chevrier (an Ottawa born, Le Cordon Bleu trained chef) decided to apply her decades of service industry experience to her own venture of owning a Mexican restaurant. Using her vast knowledge and – of course – passion for great food, she set up shop in a hole-in-the-wall in Vanier. Starting with just a handful of tables and a few delicious dishes, the “taco shack” eventually expanded to serve 15 different tacos, as well as other Mexican favourites, becoming a go-to spot for regulars and newcomers alike.
“Fun Mexican Food” isn’t a silly tagline for a taco shack, it’s our main focus. We aim to provide quality authentic Mexican food (with some Canadian flair) in a casual and fun atmosphere - and people agree!
